Awesome authentic Jamaican
The food and quality is great for the price. The ambiance is relaxed and laid back. Excellent service, you always feel welcomed, a little piece of island comes alive at rocky steady cozy corner.

Like going back home for lunch
The owners are very friendly and the food is great. Very homie in the dining area and light reggae music playing in the background.

Love it
Love the food at Rocksteady. The Jerk chicken is amazing and OMG the Oxtail is the best in South Florida, served on Fridays and Saturdays. Make sure you have a cup of the Blue Mountain Coffee...awesome menu.

Delicous
I have been looking for a West Indian restaurant in Boca. I of course read the reviews before I tried this restaurant because bad food has always been my luck. I wanted oxtails but they didn't have it, so reluctantly I tried the jerk chicken..... Wow! what a surprise! It was well seasoned, tender and juicy. Real jerk. finally. The rice and peas were good too, although I would have preferred red beans over gungo beans, but nonetheless, the food was great. The plantain was sweet and cooked just right. I loved the fact there were no bones to pick through, just eating. I will definitely be coming back for more. Just wish they had a full menu everyday. Maybe I'll revisit on Thursday or Friday this week when oxtails are available.

Refreshingly high-end Jamaican joint
Pros:Good food, great atmosphere, pleasant staff, free WiFi, great location Palm Beach needs more like this one Cons: A bit small, prefer red-beans, not gungo-peas, for 'rice&peas'

The best
Rocksteady is truly my favorite resturant. Everything that I have tried, has been delicious. The service is wonderful, even when busy, and the jerk is completely authentic. The only problem is that the sides are a bit too expenisve. Although they cost a bit, they are SO worth it. The plantains are fabulous, along with the potato salad, rice and peas, and green salad. Also, the patties, of all kinds (Chicken, Beef, Spicy Beef, etc.), are so tasty, that I usually order a few to go. Anyone who is looking for a unique, and mouth-wattering dinning experience should go to Rocksteady Jamaican Jerk Cafe.
