Great Value
I am Jamaican and work about 6 blocks away. I have eaten Jamaican food all of my life, and the food at Rocksteady is very good. I eat there at least once a week. I order either the jerk chicken or the jerk pork. I have always had a good experience. My only issue with the restaurant is their inability to have printed takeout menus for their customers.

They gave me jerk instead of brown stew
I am very dissatisfied with the quality and portion size of food recieved for the price. I recieved jerk chicken with brown stew sause instead of authentic brown stew chicken.

Wonderful Oxtails
The atmosphere is very casual and pleasant. The food is fantastic. I 've eaten here a few times and I have not been disappointed as of yet. If you are looking for good Jamaican food in Boca Raton, this is the SPOT!

Such amazing Jamaican food!
I went into Rocksteady for the first time and fell in love. I quite honestly don't understand all the complaints.. I though the chicken was nice and juicy like the pork. I also have gotten the jerk chicken sandwhich, and it is great. The patties are delicious, and I love the rice! I recommend this place to anyone I know, it is that good!

Um, this was so disappointing
First of all, I love Jamaican food, but only have had it a few times. I went to this place because I was craving Jamaican, but the food was overpriced for the quality. The pork was tough and rubbery, served on what seemed like wonderbread; the same was true for the chicken. The belgium waffle was soggy, as if it was sitting around for a while. The fries were nominal (read, bland). The restaurant had no AC running. They gave us very little jerk sauce with our meal (which was the best part of the meal). The people were nice, but the food just didn't seem that good.

It's alright
Good vibe, but the food is just alright.The Goat was tough and the chicken was kinda rubbery. The patty was alright. coco bread, was good but didn't seem fresh..

Great Jamaican Food!
The food here is great, inexpensive and the people are very nice too. My job is near by and everyone loves ordering from here because they are quick, friendly, and of course, the food is good. Everyone should try the jerk pork sandwich, pieces of jerk pork with tomato, avacado, plantains, and an herb mayonaise. It's delicious!
