    Service left some bad taste.

The place is OK, but the service could definitely be better. Plus, NO smoking outside? Not even in the small section outside?

    Not recommended

We got two most expensive meals in the house, two different varieties of crabs in the garlic sauce, plus old bay shrimp meal is an appetizer. The garlic sauce they are famous for!!! Crabs are cooked without any spice, not even salt! There is practically no taste to them! The garlic sauce is a puddle of oil with sautéed garlic and onion. No salt, no spice, no nothing! When I asked waitress why there is no taste to the crab, she responded: well, that's florida crabs for you, but I can bring you more sauce. We asked for the Old Bay to add some taste, it came tasting like cinnamon (must be their own blend). The same goes for boiled old bay shrimp. They were unreasonably spicy hot and tasted like cinnamon. Save yourself some time. Wasted $139!!! I am back to my regular crab house! Won't tell you the name because don't want it to get even more crowded. Unbelievable! I never write negative reviews but this one is a must for you to know.

Going strong after all these years

I remember my parents and grandparents taking me here when I was a little kid. Now, as an adult I still try to get back as much as I can. The clams oreganata are, by far, my favorite thing on the menu. Just the right balance of sweet, fresh, clam to breading. A sure win everytime. Calamari left a lot to be desired. Stay away from it. When they have the blue crabs, if they have the blue crabs, get them and be ready to roll up your sleaves for this tasty treat. Veggies on the plate were soggy and overdone, but are you really there for the veggies? Another winnder is the snapper, broiled, but tell them light on the oil, or your fish will still be swimming when it gets to your table. Round it off your meal with a really good piece of key lime pie, if only they used real whipped cream for the garnish! Bring mints for your garlicy breath!

    Love it

Have been here 3 times in the past 2 years. Look forward to eating here every time we come to Florida. It is at the top of our list. If you are coming for dinner suggest getting one plate for two or else plan to bring some home. Oh yeah, save room for desert.
