Very disappointing
What a disappointment. Entered and was met by a woman who pointed us to a table. The menus were plopped in front of us 10 minutes later. Started with tuna sushi appetizer, fish was warm and soft. Ordered Pork Katsu and a mixed Tempura entrée, Katsu had a sweet sauce that tasted like a concentrated soup mix, and was topped with straight from the can limp vegetables. The Tempura was soaked with oil. The shrimp was good, but the broccoli, sweet potatoes were poorly coated and mushy. Even though the menu has no pricing, we were coaxed into ordering Thai doughnuts for dessert. Tasteless and mushy with a dollop of melted ice cream. Beware of the extra charges. Very disappointing.

Most delicious sushi
Not only does the sushi taste delicious here, but they actually give you what you are paying for. Although the sushi is a little bit pricier here than other local sushi restaurants, they give you much more bang for your buck. Absolutely delicious. Would love to eat there everyday!

SO good
Stopped at Sakura on a whim, but also on fb recommends, from a few friends. WOW...so pleased. From the staff to the cooks and sushi masters. Small place. i can imagine on wkds filled. Food excellent! Hot on arrival, can tell cooked as ordered. Still adventuring.... on varieties. A very nice touch was sushi brought to table compliments of the chef. Stop by. Won't be disappointed!! Menu huge!

Best in Miami
Sakura is absolutely the best sushi place in Miami. There is actually not a place in the greater Metro Dade area which even comes close. Fresh delicious food, friendly and accommodating service, and very fairly priced. Anyone who tells you different is either lying, or ignorant to what good sushi is.

Great as always
I have been going to Sakura since the mid 90's. I have been to some great sushi places, but this place is consistently really good. They've had the same Sushi chef for the last 15+ years. It is always crowded and always fresh fish. It is average price for sushi, but again really fresh fish and amazing service (in fact I had not been for 3+ years 2001-2005 and when I walked in to pick up an order - almost everyone remembered me) Classy sushi restaurant.

Silent charges and poor service
Last night my boyfriend and I stopped in to check out the sushi here and the experience was disappointing All the rolls are with the seaweed on the outside, so I asked for the two rolls I ordered to have the rice on the outside. During dinner they sent over some complimentary rolls. Tempura California and Salmon rolls. The fish didn't taste good. I ordered my favorite shrimp tempura roll and it was another disappointment! There was a strange sauce on it and the roll was at least 3 inches big, it was ridiculous! When the check came they charged me $4 extra to do the rice on the outside! They didn't tell me it was an extra charge when I ordered and when I was trying to figure out why my bill was more expensive than I expected, the woman gave me attitude about asking questions.
