Sal's Restaurant & Pizzeria

We have dined here many times...and each time was teriffic! We have taken out-of-town guests here (to show off) and all of them have loved it. One friend..a real world traveler..said he had the best pizza he had ever had. The wait staff is friendly...the food wonderful. LOVE going there whenever we can.

After having dinner here last night we went on line to check out what others thought-to our surprise there were poor reviews. We had great chicken parmigiana & friendly server. The cannoli was delicious! We are so happy we checked it out ourselves. It's our new favorite spot!

I have ordered from Sal's for about a year, continuously the service and food has been getting disappointing. The employees and manager are rude and argue with you even when you are not upset, just merely asking a question! We ordered a pizza from there the other day, I went to go pick it up barely was acknowledged. I told him I ordered pizza and knots and he had forgotten about the knots, he heated them up for about 30 seconds! When I got home with the pizza it was burnt! We called to complain and the manager (who is the man who helped me) asked us what we wanted to do?! How about a pizza that is not burnt! We were told to bring back the pizza and we asked for our money back. This place is around the corner from my house but they are the poorest excuse for good food!

If you are looking for hot pizza please do not order from this place. The customer service is so poor it, prompted me to right this review. I called after waiting for my pizza for an hour, the manager informed me that all delivery orders take 45min to an hour. I said to him for that amount of time wouldn't you expect me to have an hot pizza. He really didn't have a solution to the problem. So I suggested that he send a hot pizza. Surprisingly the new pizza arrived 15 minutes later pipping hot. I was happy for a minute until the delivery guy asked for the original cold pizza back that me and my boyfriend had two slices of. I really don't know why they wanted the pizza back.To sum it up this my first experience ordering from Sal's and it will be the last.

I dined there at around 8:30 pm not late and the waitress said the area I wanted to sit in without the TV and the kitchen door and the pizzaman was closed so I sat where she said and oh ya did I mention the place had only one other couple and it seats 82 people....so I sat where I wasn't comfortable even though I wanted to jet outta there but I was starving....the food is very good there and I like the older italian restaurant atmosphere but the waitress was rude and just wanted to go home it was obvious. So bottom line to the owner open the whole restaurant to patrons and tell your waitress to put a smile on for your business that I'm sure you worked hard for...as I work hard for the money I spent at your place

The food at Sal's is great - real old school Italian. The atmosphere needs a boost. That's why I almost always get my food to go.

The restaurant was recommended to us. The food and service were outstanding. The ambience was rather strip mall ordinary--'course it is in a strip mall. The prices are too high for the lack of good ambience.
