I found it to be average at best. I felt the service by our waitress to be slow if non-existent. It was way too dark and seemed a bit warm on the night we were there.

We had been to Samanthas previously and loved it. This time we returned with our friends and were very, very disappointed. Four of four meals were bland and tasteless. The veal was tough and the sole reminisent of previously frozen slop. The waiter never returned to ask how our meal was and never offered either coffee or dessert. Overpriced and underwhelming.

This is one of our favorite places to dine. I crave the delicious calamari appetizer. Everything on the menu is wonderful. But don't go early before the Maltz Theater because you may miss the show. They are very crowded then and the service is too slow on those evenings. Otherwise the service is as wonderful as the food.

I have been to Samantha's many times whether at the bar having mojito's and listening to the piano or romantic dinner with my husband this place is the best. I love the mushroom appitizer the sauce alone is worth it but the crab stuffed inside is a great plus too! The restaurant books the table for the night you won't be rushed out this is a relaxing place to be and the portions are generous!

As the Concierge of a very nice hotel in Singer Island I try to get out to as many restaurants in the SOFL area as I can. This place really let me down! I informed them when making the reservation that I was a concierge in the area that could send a lot of customers their way, and I was comming in that night. I was looking for a good dinner, good service, and a nice night (I did not expect anything else). It was my wifes birthday too!! I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years and been to over 30 countries) the food was ok for $30 a plate, but my med rare lamb was more on the medium side and the potatos were bland and it took over 45 min to get it. The tables were crowded together to the point the waiter had to squeeze by, the bartender was mocking people for ordering beer (proclaiming that this is a wine place!) and the room was very drafty and poorlt decorated.

The food is absolutely fantastic. From 5 to 7 weeknights at the bar drinks and appetizers are l/2 price and they are huge and delicious. Bartender "Kevin" is very friendly and knowledgeable. We are weekly regulars. I tell everyone I know about it.

I have ordered almost everything on the menu, and will honestly say ,this is an exceptional chef. Meat dishes are excellent I'm told , since I don't eat animals. They have a large selection of wine and spirits, and good espresso. The atmosphere is great, inside or outside , nice music on some nights, and the staff is first class . Prices are reasonable , so to me that all adds up to be one of my favorite restaurants anywhere.
