Good Not Greatbut could be...
very nice spot on south beach bay side. the feel is authentic and the real strength is the wood fired oven. food was delicious but some items were a bit pedestrian. i liked the lamb shank but i think the tomato sauce (too think) detracted from the flavor- the accompaning potatos were ok but i didn't like the vegetables. similarly the suckling pig was good but not great. overall two good dishes that i would enjoy having again but with so many excellent restaurants why go back? one reason is the mirto- so i hope next time i am back it tastes like i a caligari

Great Mediterranean restaurant
Sardinia is a wonderful restaurant. It is tucked away in a quiet spot by the bay,and yet always very busy. We usually share a cheese platter-you can choose your own out of a very nice selection of italian cheeses- and a pasta dish. The portions are generous and the dishes original.I especially like the lamb pasta. Extensive wine list as well. Service is always prompt, very professional and friendly.A great place for a romantic meal at one of the candle-lit sidewalk tables.
