Seven of us went to dinner for New Year's eve. Although two of us have long eaten at Seawatch and enjoyed it, this experience was a waste of money. The food was cold, and the waitress indifferent. After several years of dining pleasure, we're not certain we would return. Why waste even more money? The renovations, however, look good, but you're not eating the furniture. Food for thought.

I loved this restaurant in the past but it has changed since the renovation. The menu is limited, my food was skimpy and tasteless. The view is all it has going for it now. Very sad...I always brought guests, but would be embarrassed to do so now unless the view was more important than the food. I was also seated at an awkwardly placed table for two.

We've been going to Seawatch for years so looked forward to a nice lunch. The view was breathtaking as usual, but the food was poor. My Reuben sandwich was sad. One thin piece of meat, a tiny amount of melted cheese between two pieces of bread. I couldn't find any sauerkraut. The avocado soup was weird-tasting. My partner gave hers back to the waiter after tasting it. What has happened to one of our favorite restaurants?

I have been eating in this restaurant since its inception and have had many enjoyable meals with my family and friends over these years. We ate there on Friday and I must say that I was extremely disappointed and felt very strongly that this "landmark" restaurant is now "only a shell" of what it was before. From the decor to the inferior quality of the food and service I would not go back anymore. In addition it was very crude for the estalishment to include a gratuity of 18% for a party of only six people. I typically give at least 20% gratuity and more or less depending on the service. But the customer should have the right to decide how much he or she wants to tip and not be forced to a set amount. As it was, the waitress was extremely rude to me when discussing the origin of the restaurant and did not deserve any gratuity because of her poor attitude. Once again, I will not be returning unless things change dramatically. This conclussion is not very different from what many of our close friends have also commented after their resent visits to Sea Watch!

One of the worst meals ever. Have been here many times. This is the last. Took our 3 kids they got the seafood tower to share and was only enough food for a half a person for $35. Not only skimmpy but not even good. I don't reccommend this restaurant when there are so many good ones and for much less cost.

I prefer the old Sea Watch. Now Overpriced with a la carte menue. You order an entree and that is all you get, no potatoes, veggies, all extra. Food is good but way overpriced. Seems they want to pay for the remodel job ASAP at the customers expense. No longer on my list.

Returned to find the funk had been changed to upscale, but still you can't beat the view (in the daylight). While the price has risen (what hasn't) the food was fresh and well prepared. Proportions were fine. It was exquisite! The service was very attentive. Our table mates were very pleased with meal and the atmosphere (their first visit), saying they will return, as will we.
