It's close so I went. I had the cobb salad; large but nothing special - I've had better elsewhere. The waiter keep walking back and forth and kept giving us annoying glances. I mean let the people eat. Then we ask for separate checks and the waiter says "we can't do that here". I mean give me a break! Don't know if I'd visit again.

Nice atmosphere. Seafood Gumbo was very good. Bamana Pudding was amazing. Service was a little below average.

born and raised in louisiana, been to the best restaraunts in louisiana, this rates up there with the best, even though very casual dining and atmosphere, went at lunch during a saints game, felt like i was on bourbon or decatur, had several appetizers as well as a couple of entrees, favorite was shrimp w/ grits, even though i am not a big grits fan this was the best ever! keep up the good work, i will be back as soon as some of my friends from louisiana come to visit again, maybe sooner! also the catfish is not from china(BIG PLUS)!!!!!! thanks for the great time mr and mrs shuck and dive!

We went on the reviews of others, I don't know if we went on a bad night, but we started with one waitress got another and the manager finally had to fill our drinks and we had to ask for the ticket. Food was mediocre I had the 1/2 and 1/2 oysters and Shrimp, they were very salty. My friends had the cajun mixed grill and were not at all impressed. I say find another place to dine if you want service!

Have been through almost the entire menu and can honestly say I like it all. Not a fried food person but the Shrimp and Oysters combo is out of this world. The gumbo is a must but do not forget the specials. Each day is different but the same each week and they have perfected them. Alot of Moma's dishes and this Moma can cook!

I was born in Raceland, LA and as my last name shows I am 100% true cajun. I live in Florida now and went here for the crawfish boil just before the super bowl. Fantastic cajun music and atmostphere. The food was fantastic!!! Just like home!

Accidently found this place and it's now our favorite place to eat. My blackened catfish was the best I'd ever eaten. My husband's shrimp was great but the pecan pie was so beautiful we had to stare at it's presentation before we could eat it. Never had it warm with cream before. We're on our way back!
