Sparky's Roadside Barbecue

This is by far one of the most disappointing"Barbecue" place I have been to, after living in Texas for over 10 years and traveled to more than 40 states I think I know what to expect and get , as people described in other reviews: No aroma from any smoker in the meat (or in the air at the restaurant) for the brisket this is Very strange ... The ribs were extremely chewy and full of fat at the same time with no taste what so ever, ( no fall of the bone here ... ) The brisket not smoked ( or they have a new invention to smoke the meat without smoke ? ) also very chewy and tasteless. Believe me, I'm would loved to have some positive things to say about this place but that would be a big lie. I think you get a better meal from a food truck serving barbecue.

Not the best BBQ, the food had no taste.

Delicious and authentic; good luck picking one item from the menu. Favorites are Tyler's Pressed Sandwich and the Jerk Chicken

Finally tried Sparky's for the first time and I can't wait to go back! Smoked Chicken/Ribs/Pulled Pork/Brisket - all excellent, perfectly smoked and available with several amazing homemade sauces - the magma sauce is addictive! Can't go wrong with any of the sides - incl. mac & cheese, coleslaw and baked beans. Also, quite surprisingly, Sparky's has a micro-brew selection second to none anywhere in Miami. And do NOT miss the desserts - made in house and fantastic - pecan pie and banana pudding - beyond ridiculous! You gotta go to Sparky's.
