    Great atmosphere!

I loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. I was dissapointed about the $10 glass of wine which was filled up to 1/3 of the glass. Definitely pricey restaurant, but worth trying!

Excellent if your not on a budget

The atmosphere at Martinez is great. Everyone from the waitress to the server were excellent, awsome attitude. The food is good and fresh. The only problem is that were talking about tapas here. The portions are tiny. Defenitely would'nt recommend if your starving and to top it their expensive. It is great though to mingle and snack on something. The cocktail list is also great. I had the Buenavista coctail which was amazing. If your really not to hungry and not on a budget its a great place to go.

    Sra Martinez is fantastic!

Our family of four visited Sra Martinez last week and we were blown away by the quality, freshness and taste of everything we had and we had plenty. Our biggest problem was not ordering everything. We did end up with 14 dishes (they recommend 2 - 3 per person but we couldn't help ourselves) and ended up essentially licking every one of them clean. It's not cheap but worth every penny! Apparently the menu changes frequently but things not to be missed if they are on the menu (IMHO) are the: Croquetas, Crispy Artichokes, Foie Gras, Galbi Pinchos (I’d fly to Miami just to get the slaw that comes with these ‘ribs’). The building is stunning and very fitting for the design district and the entire staff, at least on the Wednesday night we were there were very welcoming and friendly.

    good, but expensive

The tapas were very good.. They are small plates, but 3/4 plates for couple was fine. It is expensive for tapas. The bill came to $100 with tip per couple, but no one ordered drinks.... It's does have a nice vibe... kinds of lower east side.... Which I LOVE

    Overrated Tapas

Loved the atmosphere and the architecture of the restaurant. It feels like you are in another city. The food leaves something to be desired. It is overpriced and for being tapas you get very few portions. The drinks at the bar are excellent but the food not so much. But if you are pretentious and want to be seen, then this is the place for you.
