Our second visit to Super Dave's Diner and this time the food was more disappointing than the first, since two years had lapsed. Pork chops very tough and too much flour. I put one in the crock pot and cooked several hours and it was edible the next day. Chicken wings very hard to mess up, but tasted like they were boiled and needed more cooking and flavor; brisket was a good portion and was flavorful, but it was so tough; okra just okra fried from a bag. We didn't eat the corn bread muffin and the big bun that the brisket was served on. I've lived and traveled in the south for more than 50 years. The saving grace for this dines is the people, they are so very nice and patient. I just hope that they get better as cooks. The food may be OK for Northerners but I doubt that anything on the menu would impress a Southerner.

AMAZING! The food is awesome and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you're home; especially for those nonFloridians missing that home cooked meal. The owner/chef "Super" Dave and his staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. The food cooked to perfection; the variety of soul food is the best South FL has to offer.

Super Dave's is a real hidden gem. Chef David Harmon is serving up some great home cookin' at some down to earth prices. Must try his beef brisket, cracked conch, chicken wings to name a few. They also have some great breakfasts, served all-day long.
