It's not my go-to Sushi Spot...

Overall Sushi Samba is cool for a one-time experience but def not your go-to sushi spot on the beach. This place has all the hype behind it and the food is okay, but its not as fabulous as it once may have been. Its on Lincoln Rd so it def makes for a fun night out and people watching...the decor and atmosphere is typical of a Sushi Samba atmoshpere but for the $$$ its a tough call. The rolls were actually pretty good and creative but everything else is overpriced. I did see Maroon 5 eating here the last time I went so its good for celeb spotting...

    Beware of this restaurant!

We went here last night, because the Sushi Sambas in New York have great food and always promise a fun night, however Sushi Samba Dromo did not meet this expectation. We ordered appetizers, which they brought after our main courses, we could never get a hold of our waitress, and she messed up my order. In the middle of our dinner, we ordered another bottle of water, which they never brought us! The food was good, but we couldn't enjoy it because the service was so subpar. After all that, they had the nerve to include service in the price! Beware!

    Rain flusters staff

My first experience at Sushi Samba was on a night when it rained and I'm just going to assume that the onset of rain is what flustered the staff (long wait to order a drink, lots of noise as staff rearranges the tables on the patio beside me, long wait before the food arrives, etc) However, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is a very modern cool with nice latin beats playing in the background.
