Ordered three bottles of wine, before they found one that actually was in stock. We had ordered sake, to be delivered before the wine; it came to the table 15 minutes after the wine. Sushi was disappointing. Hand rolls was poor. Sushi rice was cold. Seaweed soggy. Publix makes better sushi. Thai panang sauce was the worst We've ever had. The menu said it was thick. It was thin like water and so over-sweet that it tasted like some icky, artificial dessert. The waitress said there was broccoli in it; there was none. Appetizers didn't come out together, so two of them got cold, while we waited for the third to come out. Sixty seconds after we received our appetizers, one of the entrées was delivered. We sent it back. Even the 'thai jasmine' rice was not jasmine - it was some cheap rice with no flavor.

We have been eating here almost since the restaurant opened. Any restaurant which can stay in business more than three years in this part of South Florida can be proud of their accomplishments. The food is always fresh & well cooked. The raw fish and it's preparation are impeccable. The food at the sushi bar is amazing. Congratulations on a job well done.

I consider myself a sushi and Thai food connoisseur because my love for asain foods has made me try out all sorts of different restaurants. The Thai Curry and other Thai dishes at Tamarind blow anything else out of the water. The lunch specials are to die for and very reasonably priced. A definite must try for Thai food lovers!

Server was charming and effective, remembering special requests (eg no tempura flakes in roll, etc). The cold sake was reasonably priced and excellent. The food was clean and well sourced: the chicken was good--a rarity in Asian restaurants-- and the fish was fresh and properly cut. Also they did well on the little things, like top-quality pickled ginger, good shrimp in the soup, and so forth. Somebody actually cares about the food here. You can always tell. We ate in the lounge and so cannot comment on the main restaurant, but the lounge was quirky and pleasant, without boom-boom-boom music. Chairs were comfy. Bottom line on the check: $66 for two stuffed customers, including a $23 bottle of sake. A great value.

I'm so happy I found this place because it really is delicious and cute decor. If you're looking for a great sushi place, you should definitely give this place a try. You won't be disapointed.
