I heard of this place from a friend who comes for the huevos rancheros and said it is the real deal, after asking him where he thought authentic Mexcian was in this town. Well, the variety and uniqueness of the dishes, down to the different kind of nacho chips made me a believer. I honestly believe this is one of those "like being in Mexico" places. Decor is okay, as is service. Food is magnifico! See if I'm wrong.

Never in my life have I gone to a Mexican restaurant and seen white rice! Besides it being white, it was the worst rice I've ever had in my life. And the beans (which I assume were supposed to be refried) tasted like it had more garlic in it than beans. The chicken enchiladas were okay. Definitely not the most unappetizing (which is why I didn't rate it a 0) I've had in South Florida, but nowhere near the best. My entire order was basically wrong but after getting it on the table and seeing the white rice, I didn't even want to send it back. Also, the chips were crispier than if I burned a piece of toast 3 times in a row. The actual restaurant is nice. And the staff is friendly. But I definitely would not recommend this place to someone who is looking for authentic Mexican. I'd say take a trip to Texas and you'll get exactly what you're looking for.

Best torta I ever had. Bigger than a football with homemade bun

Found this place with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Good, cheap food. Be sure to get the chilaquiles on weekends.

Good food at good prices..the tacos are wonderful and the tortas are the biggest in town...pleasant staff and good take out service...a must try for mexican food lovers.
