Thai Rama Sushi

I had the spider roll and it had no crabmeat just fried wrapped in rice! The owner argued with me instead of replacing it.

I have been going to Thai Rama for 7 years and have loved every visit. Mony, the owner and Chef is friendly and willing to create any sushi you can think up. I love sushi, but the sushi at Thai Rama is above and beyond. The service is friendly and familial. The ambiance is tranquil and inviting. I recommend full heartedly.

Thai Rama is one of those special places you make the trip for if you’re coming from anywhere but Miami Springs. Its location is obscure; I’m not sure I could find it myself, as thankfully someone else has always been the driver. But on those special nights when we make the decision to go to Thai Rama, it’s always a delicious and memorable night. I officially tried sushi for the first time at another restaurant that shall remain unnamed, was underwhelmed by experience, and didn't venture into sushi again until 2012 at Thai Rama. The salmon is like buttah; the specialty rolls hearty and unique (try the Conra Roll), the Thai donuts a perfect sweet ending to a savory meal. Wait staff is always friendly and hospitable, and the small establishment lends itself more to a home-away-from-home feeling than a restaurant. Mony Lon, the sushi chef and owner, takes obvious pride in his food, staff, and quality of service. He is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, and it shows in every nuance of his restaurant. Go to Thai Rama Sushi! Now!

The poorest customer service ever. My husband and I have been working in the service industry for over 10 years and we have never experienced such poor treatment. We took a few bites of an entree and it was too spicy, (we ordered mild) so we asked if we could have something more mild since I was pregnant and I had a small toddler who couldn't take the heat. They told us that they would have to charge us again for making a new plate of food. We said neverrmind that we just didn't want it and they took the plate of food back to the kitchen (we had barley even touched it) and they brought us the bill and charged us for it. When we spoke to the owner he proceeded to tell us that we didn't understand Thai food. We have been to a lot of Thai restaurants in Miami and out of state, so are very familiar. I don't care how good people rave the food is....there are so many good Thai restaurants out there with really great service.

Simply put ... Exquisite. From the attention to detail and artistic display to the fresh ingredients and low prices. Hands down my favorite sushi/thai place. Have yet to try all dishes but slowly working on it. Thus far this little hidden gem is a masterpiece of epic deliciousness. The staff is helpful, courteous and kind. The Sushi Chef is godly to say the least and the atmosphere is extremely cozy and welcoming. Very clean and did I mention the price is AMAZING?! Try it for yourselves you won't regret it.

Extremely slow during lunch. Guy next to me had to take his lunch to go and I had to wait almost half an hour for my lunch. One evening I came in at 9:30 and they were closed. They were supposed to close at 10. I do not recommend Prices are hand written over permanent prices on the menu. Lunch is extremely expensive.

I've been going to Thai Rama for years and have yet to be disappointed with their food or service.
