Quantity and price outweighs service.
Fortunately for Thaicoon, they have better Thai than the other restaurant just up the road, however not as good as Thai in Jupiter. The service is satisfactory and is prepared with take out speed proficiency. The MAJOR problem is first price. I know it's "North Palm" but its a far from fine dining. What's even more disappointing than the price is the portion size! I will and do pay for good food but the portions are way to small. I write this not out of anger, but as a loyal customer who has enjoyed eating here for several years. I hope they read this and change their ways before its too late and more people are disatisfied.

Price and quantity of food
I visited this restaraunt for dinner on this day. The prices were moderately high and the servings of food were very meager. If you pay moderately high prices for dinner , you expect to leave the restaraunt satisfied. I ordered a beef curry dinner for $12.95. There were approximately seven tiny pieces of beef. You could see the vegetables and the curry sauce but the beef could not be seen. I would not recommend this restaraunt. This is a tough economy and people are entilted to receive satisfaction for what they purchase. I certainly would not be going back.

What happened?
We use to love this place....Pad Thai was without a doubt the best in the area. What happened? Did they get a new chef? Did someone else buy the restaurant? Had Pad Thai there last week and shrimp tasted spoiled and noodles were soggy! I think they have new cooks. It will be some time before we go back!

Good and authentic.
The best thing about Thaicoon is the service. They always remember our names and what we like to eat. My water glass is hardly ever empty and our empty dishes usually don't linger on the table. The food is great. I'm not an expert on Thai food but my guess is that this is as authentic as it gets. Be careful when ordering something five star. They don't mess around when it comes to spiciness and it's part of the reason I like the place. The Pad Thai is very good and if you're feeling adventurous try the Shrimp Panang three star. Also, their Chicken Coconut soup is a "must try." Their prices are a little higher than other Thai restaurants in the area but not so much as to deter us from going at least six to eight times a year. Enjoy!

Not recommended
use to go quite often and always got the chicken pad thai which was good/average. One day I went there and was shocked that the portion size was cut in half. I felt really ripped off and vowed to never go back and haven't. Today my friend went there and he said the same thing happened to him. The paid thai was served and he said "what's this? where is the rest of it?"

Good food, but pricey!
Great soy sauce noodles and pad thai. Chinese sausage fried rice is excellent; however, food is very, very pricey for what you get. It's always consistent though. Spring rolls could be much better -- avoid them.

The Best Pad Thai
I always order "Chicken Pad Thai * No Star" I am addicted, No Star means "Not Spicy" the BEST stuff ever
