Very blah. Nothing exciting. Ask to see the meat invoice because they're not prime. I guess you get what you pay for. Rude staff.

I've dined at The Capital Grille many times in other cities and really enjoy it because the food and atmospere are the best. The Maitre' d in DC, Seattle and Las Vegas all know me and I've never had a bad expereince at any of them until recently in Palm Beach Gardens. Maybe it's because the law of averages finally caught up to me, but my first time in Palm Beach Gardens was a huge disappointment. It doesn't compare favorably to any of the ones that I frequent. I made a reservation a week in advance. Amazingly, I recieved a call the day of the reservation to verify that we had no change of plans. I thought this is great, someone is on top of things and want to make everthing perfect. We arrived at 8:00 for an 8:15 reservation. We were seated at 9:05...with a confirmed reservation. There was no apology whatsoever from the house for the extra wait. I am convenced that our reservation was given away to a special friend of the manager. I mentioned to him, how was it that we had a confirmed reservation and still waited an hour? A terse "These things happen." was the answer. It isn't as though we went cheap either... drinks, appetizers, deserts totaled over $400. Never again will I go to the one in Palm Beach Gardens based on their attitude alone. There are too many other restuarants that appreciate my business to justify going back. Next time that I'm in town, I will stay on the Island where I know that we will be taken care of. Sorry guys, but these things happen.

I have to tell you first off my dollar means more than ever to me now. Somehow, I think they take that in consideration at the Capital Grille. I went for my birthday last week, and I could put my party in the top 5 birthdays I have ever had. When we got there, there table was decorated to the nines. What stood out was a birthday card from the whole staff. They really know how to make there guests feel special. The food was amazing! Make sure to have an order of the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese, to die for! I loved my server so much, they put him in their computer system so I can visit with him every time I come back.

recently went with a party of 7 - even though we had a reservation we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated - one couple left - to their credit the chef sent two appetizers - the service was slow - two medium steaks came well done, one well done filet came almost inedible, a rare steak came medium and a seared rare tuna was also incorrectly cooked - for a restaurant that specializes in grilled food, someone should have taken the time to train the staff - this location is especially disapointing because visits to others in the chain in NYC and Washington have been very enjoyable evenings - although we generally give a new restaurant a second chance, we will not return to this one
