Culinary Mediocrity
The food here is disappointing. What sound like good dishes (crab cakes, calamari salad) are actually just cheaply sourced and poorly executed. The tastes are unsubtle (salad was drenched in fish sauce, crab cakes were surely not home made), the presentations disappointing (my $16 calamari salad was a small handful of red cabbage topped with calamari, quite deceptive from what the menu said), and the live music was bumbling and disorganized, ad too loud. I suggest avoiding this establishment.

Tried to give them chance after chance after chance
I truly love the atmosphere of the cottage although I definitely preferred some of the old seating areas such as the couches. I've continually given them chances over and over again but I think today was the last straw. My husband gave up a long time ago. Why? The service. It is slow, orders get mixed up, and the servers don't seem like they know what is going on and on top of that, don't seem to care. They are always out of something. I guess management doesn't care either since this is a constant problem. Just read most of the other reviews. Today, after the waiter passed by me 3 times and didn't even acknowledge me (he had 1 or 2 tables) and then disappeared, I finally had enough. I will not be back unless some major changes occur.

Best breakfast ever
We eat out A LOT and when we found The Cottage it turned out to be my finicky husband’s favorite! We felt at home; not rushed; and relaxed. The food was presented beautifully, and tasted great! Looking forward to returning for breakfast again.

Do yourself a favor, DON'T go!
Definitely a disappointment! Husbands garlic mashed potatoes, were old, dry, and brown. My fillet tips were fatty and tasted funny. They were just marinated in soy sauce. Save your money! Don't go! It's disappointing!

Great downtown Lake Worth Eat
Try the Beggers Pouches! This is my favorite place in downtown Lake Worth. Great atmosphere and a great place for a large group.

Fun, fun, fun!

Nice place, the two of us enjoyed the good food and drinks I am taking several friends with me next weeks.
