    Affodable and casual

Been eating here several times a month for the past 20 years. I love the location, the casual dining, and that they are open 24 hrs/7 days wk. Service is good, staff polite and helpful. My favorites are the BLT and Reuben sandwich. You need to bring cash; if you forget, they do have a ATM on the premises. You will also enjoy the decor!

Felt the customer was not appreciated

The waitress did not introduce herself ("Hi, I'm X"). She did not explain the cash requirement. She did not say, "Here is your bill; please pay it up front at the cashier", but she left the bill on the table where it sat like a piece of trash. I had to ask for the bill a second time. Then I was ordered to pay at the cashier, who told me about the cash only rule. Very weird way to treat a customer. Did not feel appreciated in any way. I know a little about the rest. biz; my parents were in it for 20-30 years. Will definitely not return.

    Bring Cash

They don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash. They have alot of low fat options like turkey sausage, egg whites, etc. Not a fancy place by any means. Good for breakfast, even better for late night eats.

    Old & Tired

If you need a place to eat in the middle of the night, this is the place to go since it is the only place in the area that is open. The serving sizes are generous. On a good day, service is average and so is the food. Make sure you have cash since they only take AmEx. Do NOT let them seat you in the backroom as it smells. With the amount of business they do, you would think they could spend a little money cleaning the place.

    A diner in Ft. Lauderdale!

This is about as close to a diner as you're going to find in Ft. Lauderdale. And like all real diners, it's there when you need it. My wife and I meet every Saturday night at 11:30PM for our late-night dinner. It's not gourmet but at 11:30PM we looking for comfort, not fancy. And comfort is what you'll find. Big menu with lots of choices. But most of all, great service from a friendly, low key staff. Ask for Wendy and you'll never have to ask for a coffee refill.
