The environment was familiar and favorable for a Wednesday night. However, the food was BLAND. There was nothing really spectacular about the menu of drinks, and it seems like their selling point was only the meat counter with chefs on call. The cold buffet seemed to be foods that can be purchased pre-made at the deli section of the grocery store They claim a varied list of drinks, but on beers, they only had Budweiser. However, the desserts were on par. I sampled the tiramisu and the flan. There are better places to go on Bayside for dinner, but you can try your chances with the cuts of meat they offer that day.

At the begining i was a little skeptical because some reviews i saw online, anyways i went there yesterday with my wife. It was the most disappointing dining experience in my life. The meat was dry and full of layers of fat, the taste of the pork was unappetizing. The salad bar was ok, not too good not too bad. The service was ok but i think the staff is not mature. A bunch of young people joking around the place is not comfortable if you are trying to have a nice dinner with your wife. Not recommended at all.

Food: We tried several different meats and they were all dry with thick layers of fat. Every piece of meat was so unbearable both me and my boyfriend left the most our plates untouched. We then tried switching to chicken and we were presented with unseasoned, rubbery fat. I’m not ever sure you can call when they serve meat. Drink: We were served hot and after complaining we were told that all their beer was in fact hot and offered to bring us ice cubes. Service: When arriving we asked the host to be seated at a booth and were automatically denied even though we they had empty ones. After we were seated, we went to the grill to get our food and when we came back, the staff had moved our stuff to a different table without asking us! We had three different waiters throughout the night and were attended every 30 minutes or so. When the staff did decide to acknowledge us they were rude and unprofessional . The whole experience was so ridiculous from every angle that we felt like we were being pushed to lose it on candid camera. Regardless, we paid for our meal and went home on a hungry tummy.

I celebrated my son’s 1st communion at The Knife in the International Mall this past Saturday 5/3/2012. Since the moment I made the reservation until the end of the day, the service was just excellent. They took care of every little detail from the decoration until the service at the table. The food and the wine were delicious. The whole experience was perfect and unforgettable. I fully recommend this restaurant for any family occasion you want to make special. The entire staff was very helpful and concerned. It is a very valuable option.

Overpriced, the meat from the buffet was cold, the bread was hard and burnt. The salad bar was the only good thing.

“The Knife” is a very nice restaurant. The ambiance and decor are very warm and cozy. It is a all-you-can eat Argentinean Steak buffet. Sometimes is difficult to order because they call the meat-cuts the Argentinian way. If you want very tender-beef order "VACIO" The salad bar is quite acceptable and varied. The serve 11 dessert choices, either a bottle of Argentinian wine or all you can drink-soda.all this included for the full menu price. The cooks are a little unfriendly and they don’t all speak English which makes it more difficult to order but the service in general is good. This restaurant is not cheap but for the price you pay there is nothing in town that can compare. Not even the similar Brazilian Steak restaurants.

We eat here often. The dress is casual, and this location has teh best selection of meat of all of the locations I have dined at. It can get busy, so keep that in mind. It helps to know the language, if you do not, it might be difficult to navigate the grill area. However, with a smile and a good attitude, the grillmaster will give you the best cut of meat you ask for. Me, I like it to moo.
