When we went, there was a gentleman playing the guitar named, Ivan Skinner. He was very good. We bought his tape and would like to see him there again. What a great place to eat and relax!

Cute place with good food. The macaroni and cheese casserole is served as an appetizer but had plenty to take home. Absolutely the BEST mac and cheese since my beloved aunt died- and hers was fabulous!

Saturday night (2/2), I took a party of 7 for dinner...the servers were oustanding, helpful and knowledgeable, but the highlights were the crab cakes...I am from Maryland even though I have lived in Boynton for 40 years...I have had crab cakes in numerous restaurants from Boca to Jupiter and these are the best I have ever had..NO FILLER of anything but crab and well worth the price..please fill free to post this review so the other people in the area who may not know of The Living Room can experience the joy that I did.

My husband and I went to the Living Room last night after reading many positive reviews about it. Well, my recommendation to people is to stay away. We sat outside because we were told that there would be a rather long wait if we sat indoors. First, the chairs were unbearably hard. Both of us experienced pain within five minutes of sitting on the chairs. My husband saw two very thin cushions on other chairs and brought them to us to use. They were worthless. We started our dinner with pear flat bread which I would have enjoyed if they hadn't been smothered with onions. There was absolutely no reason to use onions for this dish. After waiting for at least 45 minutes we were finally served our entrees. Prior to ordering, I asked the waitress about the crab cakes. She stated that they were 100% crab meat without any fillers whatsoever. On her recommendation I ordered them. After one bite It was apparent that these crab cakes were about 99% fillers. I couldn't taste the crab meat at all. They, too, were loaded with onions as was the tiny side dish of rice with fruit which I gave to my husband. I might add that during the 45 minute wait for our entrees, four different waitresses came to our table to see how things were. Since we didn't have any food, it was difficult to tell her that things were fine. However, once we finally received our meals, it wasn't until the very end that a waitress appeared to ask about the food. I told her immediately about the unappetizing crab cakes and my disappointment with the food in general. After again emphatically insisting that the crab cakes had no filler, she offered to get the manager. The woman came to the table and, to her credit, she offered to take the price of my meal off the check. Nevertheless, I will not be returning to The Living Room.

We held a private cocktail party at the Living Room last night. The owner chose the hors d'oeuvres to be served for about 80 people. The food and service was FANTASTIC. The variety was unbelievable and everything tasted not good, but great. Our friends said it was the best party they ever went to in Florida. A special mention goes to singer/guitarist. We will always remember his wonderful performance.

My husband and I went last night walked into this restaurant waited several minutes to be noticed by the hostess and when we were finally acknowledged we were asked it we had reservations. There was only 2 or 3 tables with people at them, the place was empty. After discussion among themselves and repeating about reservations and that Tuesday nights are poor we were taken to a table. Then we informed our server that I have an severe onion allergy and can not eat anything with onions and the server said to be careful because she did not have a epi pen(she thought that was very funny).Everything we tried to order she informed us that is had onion powder, not at any point did they offer to help or prepare something without onions. We have never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant before.

The first time I went to the restaurant, I was appreciative of the atmosphere, but not impressed with the variety of food. You could have knocked my socks off - what a difference two years make!. I found the food and service excelent. The vairied menu made it easy to find something for everyone. I especially like the large wine menu. Going back soon!
