    A little gem

We happened upon this adorable little bistro on our way to Key West. We ordered from their $9.95 lunch menu, and all three of us were pleasantly surprised. Two of us had talapia, which was perfectly cooked, and my husband had a delicious sirloin hamburger. The waiter was charming, and the setting was a little haven off US-1. We would definitely recommend this little gem.

    Dont order ahead

I have been ordering from this restautant since it opened a couple of years ago, however everytime I order its another dissapointment. They are constantly changing staff. The last 3 times I have ordered ahead and when I get there, they tell me they "forgot" to make or it isnt ready. Mind you I go an pick it up about 30-45 minutes AFTER I call. If I were placing a huge order I would understand, but its usually just a sandwich.

    Poor service

There were so many things wrong with the service I don't even know where to begin. So I'll just list them: Waiter had no knowledge of a kids menu, we had to ask the owner, garlic rolls came very late and not enough to feed the five people at the table, water refills had to be requested at least four times, food took forever to get to table, questions about details of menu were not known and not answered, every request: mustard, napkins silverware etc. was late or never came, server had a poor attitude, When we told owner of our disatisfaction a discount wasn't even offered or given. It is a big shame because cauley square is such nice quaint little location in miami. I really hope this place hires professional and courteous servers and gets rid of the ones they currently have.

The best sea bass in town

I was at the Village Chalet Sunday, May 8th and the food was superb. The service was justa s good. I could find no fault in this quaint little restaurant. Although Sunday was not my first time visiting the Village Chalet, each time I visit, I get a better experience. I have never had sea bass any place that taste soooo good. Keep up the good work.
