    WOW, SO FRESH

I couldnt believe it! Whole Belly Clams here in South Florida? Amazing!! They were just awesome my wife and I had an order of Steamed Ipswich clams that were sooo good we got an order of them fried as well. Wow we also had the Fish Dip which was fresh and delicious too.I would recommend this place to anyone!!1

Tricked into going back with coupon

Sad to say, but this was one of the worst meals we've had out in a long time. Ordered the scampi which was tough shrimp and linguine floating in wine and dish water. We took it home to our 14 year old who eats everything and he threw it out. It was a waste of 19.95. We also ordered the almond crusted snapper. No seasonings. no almonds,ok maybe some almond dust and the skin was left on the bottom and the blood line was still in there. The garlic bread(hamburger bun) came floating in the dishwater. Our waitress was very sweet and she said our selections were her favorite so out of courtesy for her, I didn't send everything back. Even though we had a coupon I still felt ripped off.

Big waste of time and money

Very low quality and very little food. the fried oysters were all dough and very little oyster. For $14.95 got 8 dough balls and a few fries. A fish sandwich had a paper thin piece of fish, all bread,no Fries or Cole slaw. No bread basket or crakers to start. Left as hungry as when we entered.

    Just a great little spot

I think The Whale opened about a year ago. We found this place about a month ago. Its casual but relaxing. The food is GREAT, fresh fish and huge portions. I will definately be back.

    Pass on this one!

We ate at the Whale tonight, and looked forward to eating crab legs. There is nothing given to you from this restuarant - no bread, not even a wetnap to cleanup. I found this unbelievable. They charge $20 for 1lb. of crab legs and if you want a vegetable that is extra. Want a salad that is another $3. Do yourslef a favor and pass on this one.

    Will go back

Went with some friends on a Saturday evening..had a bit of a wait becasue we wanted to sit outside. Once seated we had a great table in the back by the water. Our Sever was excellent and food was wonderful. Had a variety of foods from salad to dessert and were very pleased with all. the Chocolate cake with melted Hershey kisses was the best. Key Lime was also fantastic. As I said before ...we will be back.

    Midwestern style seafood

I don't remember much about the service, but the food was great if you are somebody who has never lived within 1000 miles of the ocean. Given the atmosphere I expected fresh seafood, but got nothing of the sort. The fried clams were like the frozen variety and did not have bellies. I live right around the corner and could walk there in about 5 minutes, but I won't be making the trip there again.
