good neighborhood spot
Good little neighborhood spot. Had the muqueca de peixe, or fish cooked in a coconut milk sauce. I can't say if it's authentic, as it was my first time having it, but it was delicious. Despite the large portion of fish with white rice and black beans, it didn't feel too heavy. Be forewarned: the garlic bread is insanely garlicky. I've never seen bread loaded down with so much garlic before. The same went for my friend's fish with garlic sauce. I'm a garlic fiend, so I loved it. Service wasn't exactly fast, but the waiter was very pleasant and helpful.
