Not what you'd expect in Pines
I went to the Village Tavern mid-week for lunch with my grandmother. I was surprised how elegant and warm the decor and lighting was. The restaurant was filled with professionals, yet the wait was minimal for a booth. The wine list is extensive and does not disappoint. Their signature drinks include a "skinny" take on some popular favorites. Easily trimming 100s of calories from Mojitos and Margaritas. In terms of food the portions are huge, so don't be afraid to share. Anything with beef is out of this world (including their beef and vegetable soup) as well as the Rainbow Trout. The Tuna Steak salad truly stood out and all salads come with a delicious miniature walnut muffin. The quality of the food is spectacular and while a main can run you $25 dollars it's a steal.
