Vito's Gourmet Pizza

food not great for very high price, go to Carrabas instead

I have been a happy customer of Vito's for many years. I used to work across the street from this location & was always very happy with the quality of the food. Great pizza, awesome calzones & I love the fresh mozzarella on focaccia. I was surprised to see the neg. review--I still order from Vito's on a regular basis & my husband & I are always happy with the food & service!

I wish I could have a better review. We had been there before and the food and service were OK. It was not busy in the restaurant on Sunday night when we went to eat . We ordered a pizza and went outside to a table to wait for the pizza to arrive. It was not very busy inside and during the time we waited for our meal to arrive a number of people picked up orders. At about 40 minutes, I went in and asked where my pizza was. An employee opened the oven and took it out. I said that I hoped it wasn't burned. It was not finished, it had to go back in the oven to melt the toppings of cheese. In another 10 or so minutes it came out warm and burned. I should have asked for my money back but we were hungry and not about to wait for another to be done. We each ate a piece and then started to scrape the top off but quit after a couple of mouthfuls. I brought it back in and spoke to the man who had taken our order and told him it was burned. He looked at a piece and told me it was not burned. I walked out as a very angry customer and will never return.

Delicious, best one I've had thus far.
