Just Ok!
I heard about this place on the Food Network's triple D's. Today my friends and I went there for lunch, started with the clams casino, although good, they were expensive 6 small ones for 10.99, the lobster bisque was very tasty. I had the Dolphin Sandwich (Blackened style) I came on a wheat non-toasted roll with Lettuce,Tomato & Onion. My wife had the same one but fried, It was way too oily. Our friends had the coconut shrimp with chips, they say it was good, and my other friend had the dolphin fish dinner it came with a salad a baked potato and a decent size of the fish (3 pieces) for 17.99. Over all it was just ok, not great but not bad either, so, the jury is still out on this one. I think people will need to go there and form their own opinion on this one.

Best dolphin in South Florida
Dolphin fingers and whale chips were fantastic. Fast service with friendly atmosphere. Owner made great recommendations based on what flavors we wanted. Also key lime pie is irresistible!

Thumbs up!
The Whale's Rib is the place to go if you are craving fresh seafood. This place has the best seafood sandwiches around. You will be addicted to their whale chips and whale juice :) Highly recommend!

The hype is right!
I had read about this place on the web before visiting this past weekend and it is all that it is hyped to be. The Lobster Bisque, Whale Fries and Key West Dolphin sandwich were spectacular. We tried both the fried and grilled versions of the KW Dolphin and decided that the grilled was best. The Lobster Bisque is the best I have ever eaten - prefectly smooth, buttery and sweet. Not crazy about the whale sauce, which is merely a honey-mustard dressing, but the fires were hot, crunchy and chewy at the same time. This place is well worth a repeat visit!

Excellent Resturaunt
Had two meals here. Great service, excellent food.Conch Chowder as good as I have had. Oysters on the half shell, large fresh and wonderful. Fish, fresh, and wonderfully prepared. Will definitely go back again. Could not recommend this place more highly.

DDD Roadtrip
Took both kids who were down from college for a family night out. The crab cakes, fish dip and whale chips were wonderful. Both the Key West Dolphin Sandwich and the regular dolphin sandwich were outstanding. The conch chowder was just OK, not enough conch and not enough spice. It was very bland. The service was great, just wish we had not sat next to the serving station. Overall a great dinner and will go back!
