    Love this place!

Everyone is super friendly and there is always fun things going on there! games and theme nights all the time! The food is delicious! especially the Spinach Artichoke dip and their specials! They have all kinds of Chive posters and stuff there as well as KCCO Beer! Love this place!!!

    A little disappointed

I was recommended to the Falcon by a patron dining at another restaurant. I noticed he was having the fish and chips there and I inquired as to how he liked them. He said they were good but the best fish and chips could be found at Ye Olde Falcon Pub. OK, I thought. Good tip. Just returned from the Falcon and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I walk in at around 6 pm, and the place is empty. Uh oh, I thought, not a good sign especially since their website claims Happy Hour until 7 pm. I sit by myself at the bar and a cute, friendly bar maid comes over to take my drink order. Service was average, but I did have to get her attention while she was yakking with another employee. I'm here, so I have to order the fish and chips, which I did. It came out fairly quickly....nobody else in the place.....and plopped in front of me was 3 smallish cod portions on top of a small bed of thick cut fries. Along side was a thimble full of their "homemade" cole slaw and some tartar sauce. Now I'm thinking for $13 this must be only half of it and the rest is coming later. Nope, that was it. I'm still trying to figure out what Happy Hour was. 2 draft pints were $6, the same price posted on the menu. The food was OK, but I sure wouldn't send anyone else there looking for the best fish and chips. Service was OK, but the bar maid was cute. All in all not what I was expecting. It wasn't a poor experience, but not worth going back.

I miss the old Ye Olde Falcon Pub!

Have been going to the Falcon Pub for years and have always love it! I have to say the food quality has been going down for the past couple years. My last experience was disappointing! Food was subpar and the service was even worse! I have noticed over the years that the prices have gone up, amount of food per dish has decreased and the the quality of the food has really gone down. I really hope that they can fix the issues because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat!

The typical hole in the wall pub

Just the typical hole in the wall pub but it has good music and tv for sports & decent selection of beer. Burgers are good too. You could probably spend a night just hangin out there drinkin with your friends if you like the atmosphere.
